Biography



Debbie is a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 13 years of nursing experience. She earned her nursing degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2013. She began her career as a registered nurse caring for complex and critically ill patients in organ transplant and in the emergency room.

She returned to school for her Master of Science in Nursing in 2018 and went on to work in clinical research and pain management as a Family Nurse Practitioner, gaining a broad understanding of how physical and mental health shape one another. She later completed her post-master's certificate in psychiatric mental health at Texas State University.

Debbie understands that reaching out for mental health support can be difficult, and she meets each patient with empathy and respect. She believes in caring for the whole person, and her goal is for every patient to feel understood, supported, and never alone in their path toward better health.
