Dr. Raymond Cho

Founder and Medical Director

Dr. Cho brings over 30 years of clinical and research experience in psychiatry and neuromodulation. As Founder and Medical Director of Houston Mind & Brain, he develops structured treatment protocols, oversees clinical care across programs, and trains the team to deliver treatment safely, consistently, and with a focus on meaningful outcomes.

A note from Dr. Raymond Cho

I started Houston Mind & Brain to bring research-grade brain treatments into a practice that feels personal and straightforward. We begin by listening to your history, what hasn’t worked, and what matters most, then design a plan that blends evidence-based interventions (TMS, ketamine, and KAP) with careful medication management so improvements endure. If you’re considering whether one of these options might be right for you, our team will guide you through the process and help you take the next step.

Education & Training

Dr. Cho is a Professor of Psychiatry at Baylor College of Medicine with advanced training in neuroscience and psychology. His work in neuromodulation and brain-based treatments is supported by NIH-funded research and leadership of academic clinical programs. At Houston Mind & Brain, he applies this background to develop structured, evidence-based approaches to diagnosis and treatment—and to train and oversee the clinical team delivering care.
